Three programmes, one clear purpose
Whether you are expecting, newly arrived, or a few months into parenthood — Bijara has a programme sized to where you are and what you need right now.
Our Approach
How Bijara structures its education
Every Bijara programme follows the same core methodology — sequential, practical, and applied to real Malaysian family circumstances. The three levels share a common framework and build on each other so that parents who progress through them develop a coherent, deepening understanding rather than a fragmented collection of tips.
Understand your current position
Each programme starts with a structured look at the household's current financial picture — income, outgoings, and what changes with a baby. No assumptions, no generic templates.
Build in sequential layers
Sessions are ordered so that each one prepares for the next. Budget basics before milestone planning. First-year costs before medium-term preparation. Structure reduces overwhelm.
Apply and take home
Every session includes a practical exercise completed during the session — not homework to do later. Completed worksheets and toolkits leave with participants at the end.
Planning for Baby Workshop
A reassuring half-day workshop for new and expecting parents who want a calm, practical starting point for early family costs. In three hours, participants create an initial budget framework, map the first-year costs specific to their household, and leave with a checklist and worksheet they can continue using at home. The session includes a supportive group discussion that helps parents see they are not alone in the questions they are working through.
What is included
- 3-hour in-person session at Setia City Mall, Shah Alam
- First-year family cost checklist (take-home)
- Household budget planning worksheet (completed in session)
- Supportive small-group discussion
- Group size: maximum 15 participants
Session outline
- 1 Welcome and household financial position overview (30 min)
- 2 First-year cost mapping exercise (60 min)
- 3 Simple budget framework — applying the worksheet (45 min)
- 4 Group discussion and Q&A (45 min)
Growing Family Money Programme
A structured six-week programme for families who want to develop habits and a working system, not just a one-day overview. Over six weekly sessions, participants plan for family milestones, coordinate a household budget across two income situations, and build consistent habits suited to a busy household. Parent circles — small groups of four to five participants — meet briefly between sessions to share how they are applying the material.
What is included
- 6 sessions over 6 weeks (weekday evenings or Saturday mornings)
- Family planning journal (used throughout the programme)
- Comprehensive family finance planning toolkit (take-home)
- Small parent circle peer groups
- Mid-programme and end-of-programme review check-ins

- 2 Building a household budget that holds
- 3 Milestone mapping for the first three years

- 5 Managing budget under changing conditions
- 6 Review, planning for next stage, and check-in
